Using A Puppy And Kitty Theme

Looking for a different theme for your child’s room? Well there is a great way to change a room, change it to a puppy theme or how about those cute little kitten themes? Both of these animals are loved by kids of all ages, and most of them will want to have a pet while they are growing up. Sometimes due to circumstances you are not able to have a pet, so why not decorate their room up instead!

Make sure that you get your child involved in this project if they are old enough. Have them help to pick out a nice wall paper that is full of pictures of cute little puppies or kittens if that’s what they like. Wall paper may be too expensive in that case put up a nice color on a wall, and get some stickers of animals that your child can help to place up on the wall. This won’t cost a lot of money and again your child’s creativity was put to use too!

Look for bedding that has the pet on it too. This is a great way to get the whole room looking like a great room, and to make your child happy. Plus the addition of some nice stuffed animals will even add more to the decor. Make sure that you don’t get too many different color schemes going though. The room can look great but get overwhelming if you have too much color in it.

Another accessory that will help your child recognize color and pattern is an area rug. Area rugs come in all shapes, sizes and patterns. Area rugs are easy to clean and provide sound insulation. When choosing an area rug for this room, look for a rug in your color scheme that has many different geometrical shapes. If the area rug also features the pet your child’s room theme is built around that is fantastic. If not buy a stamp that features your selected pet and use paint to stamp the image on each shape. You now have an area rug that educates as well as decorates.

The personal touch that you have added to your child’s bedroom will be met with enthusiasm. This pet themed child’s bedroom will be a favorite memory even when your child has their own children. Give your child the best of your imagination by using these tips to create a fun and educational pet themed child’s bedroom today.
