History Of Kenneth Copeland Ministries

Ken Copeland was the founder of the Christian Organization Kenneth Copeland Ministries. He was born at Lubbork, Texas on 6th December 1939 and was a known author, speaker and a televangelist. He converted to Christianity on November 1962.

Ken Copeland was a recording artist of partial Native American decent before he converted to Christianity. His work was often appreciated and made entries in list of top charts. His work of Billboard made it in the list of top 40 hits. In Apr 1957 his performance of \”Pledge of love\” was in the list of top 40 and stayed there for 8 weeks. His most admired performance had ranked 12 the in the charts.

He was dedicated with Christian ministry work after his conversion to Christianity. He became a pilot and chauffeurs for Oral Roberts in the 1960s and got enrolled in Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ken Copeland was the main member of the Oral Roberts University Boards of Regents till 2008 at Oral Roberts University. The main reason for this new board was a case of October 2007 which blamed the University for being involved in wrong financial and political acts. Ken Copeland\’s eldest daughter was Terri. Terri had got married to George Pearson who had been chairman of the board of Oral Toberts University till 2008.

They were even based internationally at locations in Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom and Ukraine. The ministries had been actively involved with prison inmates in 23 countries.

His teachings on \”Word Faith Movement\”, claims on faith healing and claim on Bible believers of getting hundredfold returns on their giving\’s (as per Genesis 26:12, Mark 4:20, Mark 10:29-30, Luke 6:38, II Corinthians 9:6-12 and Galatians 3:13-14 of the Bible) were widely criticized.
